Candied Pecans
12 oz. Shelled Pecans
1 (large) egg white
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. water
Beat egg white until frothy but no peaks. Add 1 Tbsp. water and mix. Add pecans to egg white mixture and stir until pecans are all coated.
In a separate bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add to pecan mixture and stir thoroughly. *Spread on baking sheet and bake at 250 degrees F for 15 minutes. Stir pecans and spread out again. Bake for another 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
*Works best for easiest clean-up if baked on silpat or parchment paper.
