This round, enameled cast iron cocotte, made in France, is everything you'd expect. Ideal for stews, soups, casseroles, roasts, and braises as it distributes heat evenly, self-basting lid has spikes on the underside of lid to deliver continuous distribution of juices throughout cooking, so food stays moist and flavorful. Suitable for all cooking surfaces, including induction, and oven safe up to 500°F.
