This has been used by Scandinavian metal craftsmen on their prized copper cookware for hundreds of years. Red Bear is an oxalic acid based product that cuts through dirt, tarnish, oxidation, grunge and anything else that might live on your brass or copper. Just wash copper or brass item free of grease. Then dampen a sponge or cloth and dip into a bowl of Red Bear Copper Cleaner powder. Rub the metal until it shines. The shine will appear almost instantly. Rinse off powder with water, dry with a soft cloth to produce a sparkling shine. Red Bear also cleans, polishes and protects brass. In a 6-1/3 oz container (180 grams)
