Each time, I went at with vigor and enthusiasm and abandoned it because of the work it took to clean the juice extractor. Along came my 50's and the desire to juice... again. Fortunately I test drove a Vitamix at a trade show. Seeing how it plowed through carrots, kale, ginger and apples {all fiber pulverized to drinkable goodness} made me a Vitamix devotee. Now I use my Vitamix for everything; soups, pesto, smoothies, salsa and veggie juices. It's so easy to clean so I use it constantly.
Being made in the USA makes it all the more beautiful to me.
