I remember the first time I had dragees on a piece of cake at a friend's birthday party. I thought that they were just the coolest thing and that little Lu must have very rich parents to have such an extravagant cake. Now you see dragees being used in Martha Stewart's magazine on her Christmas cookies and in Bride magazine on the fancier cakes they present. Dragees are a fun and easy way to decorate cupcakes, too. Please remember that these are for decoration only. I don't know why...we used to eat them when we were kids but I guess we know better now.
